Role Overview
This part-time Customer Service Agent role offers a unique blend of flexibility and career development opportunities. As a remote worker, you will have the freedom to work from anywhere within the UK, with the option to split your time between home and our Borehamwood office. The role is 19 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime available during weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Taking inbound calls from existing customers, providing patient-friendly first-line assistance with routine enquiries, including claims, policy cover, customer details, and payment queries.
Working within a busy and sometimes challenging environment, demonstrating patience and consistency in your interactions with customers.
Upskilling to support other operational areas, handling customer queries via telephone, live chat, and email.
Participating in an in-depth induction and training program to become a technical expert in answering customer queries.


What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need:

Previous experience providing customer service via phone, with a strong track record of delivering excellent service.
Experience working within a targeted environment, meeting KPIs and performance standards.
Empathy and professionalism, with a high level of resilience and patience, particularly when dealing with customers whose pets are injured or unwell.
Organizational skills, with good attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy, repetitive environment.
A quiet workspace with a reliable internet connection, as you will be working from home.


Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in pet insurance.
Knowledge of customer service software and technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
