Your role
Are you interested in residential and commercial loan origination and securitization and how these work behind the scenes?
We're looking for a Real Estate Finance Operations Specialist to:
Assist in the settlement and reconciliation of residential loan origination and warehouse funding transactions
Assist in the production of weekly risk reporting for residential loans in the pipeline
Process the nostro, depot and AVI reconciliations including break research and resolution on a daily basis
Daily contact with our client roster and providing superior service
Interacting with and responding to Desk inquiries
Interaction with document custodians
Reviewing legal documents to create and maintain client profile
Your team
You'll be joining the Real Estate Finance Middle Office team based in Nashville, TN. We provide our bank support to the residential and commercial loan businesses as well as appropriately escalate any issues or risks in a timely manner. In this role, you will play a key role in the process of funding, settling, and monitoring the loans currently on our books.
Your expertise
Bachelor's degree, ideally in business or finance
Experience with Excel - intermediate/advanced is a plus
Time management and organizational skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Basic understanding of fundamental financial terminology
Ability to analyze and understand complex system flows and operations
Any experience with mortgage or loan products is a plus
