We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Custodian / Janitor with at least 1 year of experience in custodial services, janitorial work, or building maintenance to join our facilities team. As part of our Custodial Services and cleaning team, you will: Perform daily facility cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, hallways, offices, stairwells, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect high-traffic areas. Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the property. Wash windows and maintain clean interior and exterior surfaces. Assist with minor building maintenance and repair tasks. Lock and unlock building doors on schedule. Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and maintained in good condition. Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures to maintain a high standard of care. Custodian Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of custodial, janitorial, or building maintenance experience required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Comfortable opening or closing the facility as needed. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety. Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment. Custodian Skills Good communication and time management skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Problem-solving skills for minor repair tasks. Strong sense of responsibility and reliability. Familiarity with basic safety procedures. Custodian Schedule Part-time, Monday–Friday shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM . Must be available two weekends per month . Flexible scheduling available based on coverage needs. Custodian Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($20-22 based on experience).
