Part-time (4 hrs per day) front-end developer needed

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Front-End Development to join our team. This part time position provides the opportunity for practical experience, learning, and professional growth in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web development, a keen eye for design and detail, and a desire to learn and apply new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the development and maintenance of user-friendly web pages and applications.

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers/developers to translate designs into responsive, interactive interfaces.

- Write clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for front-end development.

- Help troubleshoot and debug issues to improve site performance and visitor experience.

- Stay up-to-date with current web development trends and technologies.

- Work closely with the Lead Developer and team to understand project requirements and deliverables.

- ‎Handle updates to WordPress sites for security updates and plugin updates

Qualifications

- Education in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge of PHP is a big plus.

- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) is a plus.

- Knowledge of responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- A portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing previous projects.
