Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests into our system, ensuring that all information is processed efficiently and effectively. Your daily tasks will include: Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, meeting client turnaround times and maintaining high levels of accuracy. Navigating efficiently and effectively through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, utilizing your technical skills to optimize your workflow. Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines, demonstrating your ability to understand and apply complex rules and procedures. Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling, exercising your attention to detail and analytical skills. Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Additional Responsibilities In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also be expected to: Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, providing feedback and support to ensure that our team's work meets the highest standards of quality. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating your willingness to go above and beyond to support your colleagues and the organization as a whole. Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, exercising your critical thinking skills and attention to detail to identify and report any errors or inconsistencies. Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate, leveraging your knowledge and experience to suggest innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications and Requirements To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills. Required Level of Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role, providing you with a solid understanding of data entry principles and practices. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into our system. Excellent attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and a keen eye for detail. High degree of accuracy, with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
