Part-Time (20-25 hours/wk) Inside Sales Rep (100% Remote)

Job Overview We are a small woman-owned and operated wholesale (B2B) electronics parts franchised distributor. Education or Work Experience Required • College Degree or On-the-job experience equivalent • Customer Service or Inside Sales experience, WHOLESALE preferred • Supply Chain or Purchasing experience STRONGLY suggested, but not required. • SAP Ariba experience a PLUS Work with the sales team, purchasing and customers to provide sales service and support. Work with sales to enter over-run of orders on key customers. Work with sales to quote transactional business. Work closely with Purchasing to do forward looking expedites and coordinate inventory management and allocation. Use this data to keep open order reports updated weekly in order to easily respond to customers’ requests for updates. Identify strategic parts/schedules that need additional work and management involvement. Duties and Responsibilities: The ISR is responsible to operate out of our order management system, build relationships with both customers and vendors, and follow up on orders to meet customers’ expectations. A ISR is primarily responsible for customer service-related and administrative tasks within the Purchasing and the Sales department. They must be excellent team players and be able to work well independently. We do not micromanage, so we must trust that the candidate can work independently and reach out to management for support and questions. They must possess strong communication skills, as they communicate information to co-worker’s, supervisors, company’s vendors, as well as to multiple customers. This is a great entry- to mid- level position that offers opportunities for professional development and career advancement to the right candidate. • Expedite orders to provide on-time delivery to meet or exceed the customer’s demands • Leverages the ERP system to resolves open Purchase Order issues, work with vendors to get updated delivery timelines and communicate issues with internal business partners • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers • Develop and maintain relationships with customers • Collaborate with sales, accounts payable, operations, product management, Qualifications Required for this Position A successful ISR candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications needed to do their job effectively, which should include: • Higher level of Excel proficiency is REQUIRED • Excellent written and verbal communication skills REQUIRED • Teamwork skills; collaboration and flexibility REQUIRED • Attention to detail and thorough overview of communication is REQUIRED • Math and analytical skills • Proficiency in inventory management tools and accounting/ERP applications • Excellent time management skills REQUIRED • ERP is Epicor/P21, experience on this would be a plus but not required.
