Description:
• Instrument is a remote-first digital product and brand experience agency.
• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Paralegal to support our Agency on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week).
• This is a temporary employee position with potential to transition into a permanent role, while remaining part-time.
• This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will work closely with internal network attorney and broader internal teams.
• Your work will help safeguard the company by identifying legal risks, streamlining contract processes, and establishing a comprehensive database of key client agreements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role, preferably with a focus on contract law
• Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology
• Experience reviewing commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and DPAs
• Proficiency with document and contract management tools (e.g., Airtable, DocuSign, Dropbox, or other CMS)Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate legalese into business language
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
• Experience working in a creative agency, media, or technology environment is a plus
