Paralegal-Case Management Business Specialist

The North Carolina Department of Insurance is dedicated to promoting a stable insurance market and protecting citizens. The Paralegal – Salesforce Case Management Business Specialist supports agency operations by ensuring compliance in case records and managing the Salesforce case management system. Responsibilities Serve as the Clerk’s Office lead subject matter expert for the agency’s Salesforce case management system Manage external user permissions, workflows, record types, and automated notifications Maintain accuracy and consistency of case data, filings and deadlines Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational and compliance needs Develop and provide staff training, reference materials, and user support for staff Assist with reviewing, logging, and processing case filings and correspondence Draft procedural documents and templates in accordance with Commission rules and business practices Maintain compliance with the Commission’s recordkeeping, confidentiality, and public access policies Skills Graduation from an appropriately accredited institution for paralegal training; or Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of substantive paralegal experience; or High school or General Education Development (GED) diploma and five years of paralegal experience performing delegated, substantive legal work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated experience operating at a high level of efficiency in a high-volume environment Demonstrated experience drafting routine legal orders with little oversight and producing a work product with correct grammar, spelling, content, and little need for revision Demonstrated experience working independently utilizing exceptional organizational skills, while maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated high level business experience with Salesforce or a similar legal case management system Benefits 12 Annual paid Holidays North Carolina State Health Plan administered by bolthires Supplemental Benefits including: Flexible Spending Accounts, Accident Insurance, Cancer & Specified Disease, Critical Illness, Dental and Vision NC State Retirement (TSERS) WeSave Employee Discounts Company OverviewThe N.C.It was founded in 2015, and is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
