Monday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday 11:30 a.m.-8:30 pm
Responsibilities:
• The package room specialist’s primary duties will oversee the receiving of large quantities of packages.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that all packages are organized in the appropriate package room throughout the day.
• You will accept the packages, scan the packages into the system, label the packages with the appropriate apartment numbers and organize the packages on the shelves by apartment number.
• Ensuring the packages are delivered to the resident within a 24 hour period from when the package is scanned in.
Qualifications:
• This individual must be able to work efficiently and in an organized manner.
• This individual must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 100lbs
• Ability to stand and be on your feet the entire shift.
• Prior experience in a distribution center and/or shipping and receiving is required.
• Experience with inventory management systems required.
• Familiarity with shipping carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL) required.
• This role MAY require a valid driver's license
Benefits
Typical base compensation range depending on experience: $20 to $21 per hour USD
