Order Entry Pharmacy Technician Remote (After Training) Troy, OH
We are seeking Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians for a remote position after completing 8+ weeks of onsite training in Troy, OH. This role involves accurately entering prescription data, troubleshooting discrepancies, and ensuring efficient pharmacy operations.
Duties:
Ā Swiftly and accurately enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
Ā Communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses.
Ā Troubleshoot prescription and patient data entry discrepancies.
Ā Ensure accurate and timely prescription/patient information input.
Ā Work with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals.
Ā Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Ā Work with urgency and efficiency to meet pharmacy demands.
Schedule/Shift:
Ā 2nd Shift: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Ā Every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Ā shift differential pay
Requirements:
Ā High school diploma or GED required.
Ā Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy (must be in good standing).
Ā Strong computer skills.
Ā Understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge.
Ā Math and analytical skills (with a focus on calculations).
Ā Minimum of two (2) years of long-term care pharmacy experience preferred (but not required).
Ā Must be able to work onsite in Troy, OH for at least 8 weeks before transitioning to remote work.
