Job Title: Oracle Financials Accounting Hub Functional Consultant
Location: Remote Job + Travel
Duration: 17 Months+
Job Description:
ā¢ We need an experienced Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) Functional Consultant to join the project ASAP and support the upcoming design phase.
ā¢ The consultant will play a key role in reviewing and validating the Chart of Accounts (COA) structure with the FAH Lead during design workshops and helping drive FAH configuration, mapping, and accounting rule setup. This is a fast-paced implementation environment requiring strong functional expertise in Oracle Financials and Accounting Hub.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Join the project immediately and support ongoing FAH implementation/design workshops.
ā¢ Review and validate Chart of Accounts (COA) structure with FAH Lead and finance stakeholders.
ā¢ Analyze business and source system requirements for accounting integration into FAH.
ā¢ Configure FAH rules, mappings, accounting methods, and journal line descriptions.
ā¢ Support data mapping between source systems and Oracle GL via FAH.
ā¢ Drive design discussions and provide functional recommendations and best practices.
ā¢ Prepare functional design documents (FDD), mapping documents, and configurations.
ā¢ Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT), reconciliation, and issue resolution.
ā¢ Collaborate with finance, technical, and integration teams to ensure accurate accounting flow.
ā¢ Assist with implementation milestones and project deliverables.
Required Qualifications
ā¢ 6+ years of Oracle Financials functional experience.
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).
ā¢ Proven experience reviewing and designing Chart of Accounts (COA) structures.
ā¢ Deep knowledge of GL, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and financial integrations.
ā¢ Experience participating in design workshops and driving functional discussions.
ā¢ Implementation experience in Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle EBS Financials.
ā¢ Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
ā¢ Ability to start immediately and work in a fast-moving project.
Preferred Qualifications
ā¢ Prior experience in FAH implementations or transformations.
ā¢ CPA/CA or Finance-related certification.
ā¢ Experience with data migration, reconciliation, and reporting.
ā¢ Exposure to large enterprise finance transformation programs.
