BASIC PURPOSE: The Oracle Fast Formula Developer will create and update Fast Formulas in the various Oracle Cloud HCM modules. The primary responsibilities include gathering requirements, development, and testing of the Fast Formulas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop custom Fast Formulas in the following modules: HR, Time & Labor, Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, and Compensation. Troubleshoot, debug, support, and modify existing Fast Formulas. Transform complex business rules into functional, efficient formulas. Create Fast Formulas that utilize Value Sets, UDTs, and Lookups Create Fast Formulas that incorporate the following: multiple Rules per Rule Set; multiple Rule Sets per HCM Group; multiple legal entities Create Fast Formulas that determine pay and bill transactions Create BIP/SQL/Analytics reports to validate and audit transactions. Ensure appropriate technical documentation, e.g., TDDs, migration documentation, and troubleshooting guides are being created. Ensure thorough and relevant testing is completed and properly documented. Execute tasks in support of the overall development strategy, working closely with the functional, technical, and development teams/leads. Provide general guidance on development solutions. All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in information systems/technology, or a related field, preferred. 7+ years working in technical/functional roles supporting Oracle Cloud HCM 5+ years creating robust Oracle Cloud HCM Fast Formulas for HR, Time & Labor, Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, and Compensation At least two implementations which included US based payroll Strong understanding of payroll processing and core time & labor and absence concepts Understanding of the staffing industry, and related time & labor concepts is preferred Functional knowledge of typical Oracle Cloud HCM modules. This includes, but is not limited to, Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, and PPM Understanding of the traditional Software Development Life Cycle. SKILLS: Strong technical and analytical skills required Effective communication skills to explain concepts and solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the comfort and ability to present to both functional and technical stakeholders. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
