Oracle Applications and Middleware Administrator (OSM / UIM / BRM / AIA / WebLogic / SOA) LATAM
Overview:
(Anywhere LATAM) We are looking for an experienced Oracle Applications Administrator to manage and support Oracle Communications applications including OSM, UIM, BRM, and AIA, along with the Oracle WebLogic and SOA middleware stack.The role involves installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, deployments, and production support for critical telecom BSS/OSS platforms in a 24x7 environment.
Responsibilities:
Key ResponsibilitiesOracle Application AdministrationAdminister and support Oracle Communications applications (OSM, UIM, BRM) across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments.Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades for Oracle applications.Manage application deployments and configuration changes.Monitor application health, logs, and service performance.Troubleshoot application-level issues and integration failures.Middleware Administration (WebLogic / SOA)Administer Oracle WebLogic domains, clusters, and managed servers.Deploy and manage EAR/WAR applications.Configure and manage JMS, JDBC, Data Sources, and connection pools.Monitor WebLogic server performance and health.Troubleshoot thread issues, memory leaks, and server crashes.Administer Oracle SOA Suite components including BPEL, OSB, and composite applications.Integration & AIA SupportSupport Oracle AIA integrations between OSM, UIM, BRM, and external systems.Monitor and troubleshoot SOA composites and service orchestration.Resolve message failures, service errors, and integration issues.Work with development teams to deploy and validate integration services.Production SupportProvide L2/L3 support for critical telecom applications in a 24x7 production environment.Perform incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA).Ensure SLA compliance for incidents and service requests.Coordinate with DBA, infrastructure, network, and development teams during issue resolution.Automation & Operational ExcellenceAutomate operational tasks using Shell scripting or Python.Implement proactive monitoring and health checks for applications and middleware.Develop and maintain SOPs, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.Participate in DR drills and environment readiness activities.
