Operational Risk Sr Officer I

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Operational Risk Senior Officer for its Tampa, Florida location. Duties: Identify, challenge and assist the mitigation of risks that affect business objectives. Minimize operational risk events and losses. Assess and challenge adherence with policies and standards including data quality and adoption of data governance capabilities and initiatives with the data governance program. Effectively challenge implementation of current state efforts that supports global programs, including identifying and managing interdependencies between programs and providing transparency to stakeholders. Conduct risk and control data analysis to recommend a course of action. Responsible for challenging and assessing businesses and functions framework and execution of data management efforts to include process and design engineering. Leverage risk management to ensure the business manages data risk within the firm’s risk appetite. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as an Operational Risk Senior Officer, Data Manager, Operational Risk Manager, Audit Manager, Quality Assurance Auditor, Compliance Officer, or related position involving operational risk working within the financial services industry. 10 years of experience must include: Risk management; Data analysis; and Operational risk assessment. 9 years of experience must include: Data management.
