Job Description:
• Proven experience in a solution engineering role, preferably within the network monitoring domain.
• A strong understanding of network monitoring principles and methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of OpenNMS or a demonstrably fast learning curve.
• Expertise in designing and implementing monitoring solutions utilizing OpenNMS and other relevant tools (e.g., Kafka, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Cortex).
• Proficiency in Linux and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for a diverse audience.
• A collaborative spirit and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Kubernetes/Openshift, Helm Charts, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Experience developing custom plugins or integrations for OpenNMS is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
