ABM Industries is seeking a driven and confident Online Web Chat Assistant to join our team in New York City, New York. As an Associate Level position, the Online Web Chat Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat platforms. Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers through online chat to provide information, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while multitasking and managing multiple chat conversations simultaneously
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience across all online platforms
- Utilize project management skills to prioritize and organize chat inquiries effectively
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the online chat process and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date on company products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a customer service or online chat support role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Proficiency in typing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Project management skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online chat platforms
