Online Math Tutor Needed – Algebra (Work From Home)

We are hiring an Online Algebra & Math Tutor to work with middle school and high school students (grades 6–12) through live, virtual tutoring sessions. This is a fully remote position ideal for educators who enjoy teaching math online and helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
• Provide 1-on-1 online math tutoring to middle and high school students
• Teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, and general middle/high school math
• Help students with homework, quizzes, tests, and skill development
• Break down complex math problems into clear, step-by-step explanations
• Adapt instruction to individual learning styles and academic levels
• Track student progress and communicate updates as needed
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of middle school and high school math, especially algebra
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience (online or in-person preferred)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable internet connection and computer with video capability
• Comfortable using online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards)
• Availability during weekday afternoons, evenings, or weekends
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
• Degree in Math, Education, Engineering, or related field
• Teaching certification
• Experience with virtual tutoring platforms
• Test prep experience (state exams, SAT/ACT math)
