Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is seeking a highly qualified Online Instructor - Political Science to join our Division of Business, Social Sciences, and History. As an Online Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality educational experiences to our students in a remote setting. Start Date: Immediate openings available
Location: Remote (Online)
Compensation: Competitive salary of $2,295 per 3 credit course taught
Estimated Hours per Week: Varies (summer schedule includes day, night, and weekend classes)
Responsibilities:
Teach online courses in Political Science as assigned
Support the institution's mission and vision
Abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies
Maintain currency in your teaching discipline
Report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair
Requirements:
Education: Master's degree in Political Science or a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Political Science
Certifications: Certifications in online teaching are preferred
Experience: Previous online teaching experience is preferred
