Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our educational team. This role is essential in helping non-native speakers improve their English language skills, enabling them to communicate effectively in both personal and professional settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in curriculum development and a strong understanding of diverse learning technologies to enhance the educational experience for students of all ages.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement engaging ESL curricula tailored to the needs of students.
• Conduct lessons that focus on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Utilize various learning technologies to facilitate interactive learning experiences.
• Provide tutoring and additional support for students who require extra assistance.
• Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence in language use.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate literacy education strategies into the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Experience
• Proven experience in teaching English as a Second Language or related fields.
• Background in curriculum development, with an emphasis on adult language education preferred.
• Familiarity with special education practices is a plus, enabling effective teaching strategies for diverse learners.
• Experience working with students across various age groups, including children and adults.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to educate effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of childcare principles may be beneficial for working with younger learners.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.49 - $22.40 per hour

• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
