Job Description: We are seeking knowledgeable, fun, and personable online math teachers for grades 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using various strategies to break down mathematical concepts and create a dynamic, interactive learning environment without relying on traditional lecture methods. This role requires proficiency in using online platforms like Zoom and Google Classroom to deliver effective lessons.

Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons for grades 3-6 using games, modeling strategies, and interactive activities.
Quickly adapt lessons in real-time to ensure all students understand the content.
Utilize quick tips, tricks, mnemonics, strategies, and jingles to help students grasp mathematical concepts.
Create a fun and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and curiosity.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
Create and mark assignments, and administer pre and post assessments to measure student progress.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and development.
Stay updated with the latest educational technology and teaching practices to continuously improve instructional methods.
Must be willing to work Eastern Time
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree as a trained teacher of Mathematics, Education, or Elementary Education.
Valid teaching license or certification in Mathematics or Elementary Education.
Proven experience teaching math to elementary students at the 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th grade level, preferably in an online setting.
Proficiency in using Zoom and Google Classroom for online instruction.
Strong understanding of various teaching methods and strategies to simplify mathematical concepts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire a love for mathematics in students.
Skilled in reading students' cues and adapting instruction to offer additional scaffolding as needed.
Ability to tailor lessons to reflect the current instructional mathematics needs of students.
Patient and responsive to students' needs, able to work effectively on their own initiative without constant supervision.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in creating and using educational games and interactive activities for teaching math.
Familiarity with different modeling strategies to explain mathematical concepts.
Ability to teach live online classes effectively.
Several years of experience teaching mathematics at the elementary level.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
