Oncologist: Remote

General Hours of Work: Monday- Friday (9:00 AM- 6:00 PM EST) Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt (salaried) Department/Unit: Specialty Clinic Hours/FTE: 30 hours per week Reports To: Avel eCare Medical Director Summary: Avel eCare Specialty Clinic is seeking an experienced Oncologist Specialist to provide virtual consultations and follow-up care to our diverse patient population via a state-of-the-art telemedicine platform. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Provide on-demand consultations via phone or video to partner clinics. • Conduct scheduled specialty consults and follow-up appointments. • Collaborate with onsite clinical staff to coordinate care for patients. • Review patient results and make tailored recommendations. • Offer provider-to-provider support through phone consults. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE • MD or DO degree required. • Minimum 3 years of experience in Oncology. • Telemedicine experience preferred but not required. CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATION • Active DEA certification and Board Certification in Oncology. • Ohio medical license preferred.
