These four entities are:Forestry & Utility DivisionEnvironmental DivisionTechnology & Innovation DivisionSustainability DivisionJOB SUMMARY: As an Archaeologist I, you will support a variety of cultural resource projects across the t the Southwest Region. This position is not tied to a specific location, offering the opportunity to contribute to diverse field and research efforts throughout the broader region.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:Serve as a Crew Member for the projectConduct Class III (intensive pedestrian) cultural resources inventoryDocument archaeological sites and IOs/IFsConduct probing or shovel testingUse hand-held field technology (i.e., ArcGIS phone/tablet application paired with sub-meter GPS receivers)Survey an average of 50 acres/8 miles per day and carry personal health and safety equipment (i.e., personal water, sunscreen, etc.)Work in moderate weather conditions (fluctuating temperatures and inclement weather, including rain and snow)Work independently and efficiently, while contributing positively to a collaborative team environmentFollow instruction and make adjustments when provided feedbackMaintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetingsSupport, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wrightâs and Eocene Environmentalâ s culture of safety and employee ownershipComply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and proceduresOTHER DUTIES: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
