Oil & Gas Division Order Analyst (Full-Time Contract)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Division Order Analyst for a full-time contract position supporting active and upcoming projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can step in and contribute immediately.
This position requires prior, hands-on oil and gas division order experience. Candidates without direct industry experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret title opinions, leases, and contracts to determine accurate ownership interests
Set up and maintain division of interest decks within client or internal systems
Calculate and verify revenue distribution in accordance with governing documents
Process ownership changes, including assignments, conveyances, and probate documents
Identify and resolve title discrepancies and ownership issues
Collaborate with Land, Legal, and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
Respond to owner inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Maintain detailed, organized, and auditable records
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years of direct experience as an Oil & Gas Division Order Analyst (REQUIRED)
Proven experience working with oil and gas title, leases, and division order processes
Strong ability to interpret title opinions and calculate NRI/ownership interests
Proficiency in Excel and division order systems
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a project-driven environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Texas and/or New Mexico assets
Background in curative and title issue resolution
Experience working in a contract or project-based role
Contract Details
Full-time contract position (40 hours/week expected)
Project-based assignment with potential for extension based on performance and business needs
Start date: Immediate / ASAP preferred
Remote work environment (if applicable)
