About the TeamAt Nutanix, the OEM Business Development team is a small yet dynamic group based in the Americas. Our team culture fosters open communication and collaboration, ensuring that everyone's voice is heard and valued. We prioritize the success of the team above all, working closely together to innovate and drive initiatives that contribute to the growth of our OEM partnerships.You will report to the Senior Director of Worldwide OEM Business Development, who is committed to empowering team members and facilitating an environment conducive to professional development. This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility while still encouraging regular check-ins and teamwork via digital platforms. As part of this role, you can expect approximately 50% travel requirements, allowing you to connect with partners and stakeholders in key locations and contribute to our global outreach efforts. Your RoleDrive activities and initiatives to achieve revenue and pipeline goals to and with the OEM partners.Build a true partnership with OEM partners, act as their champion across Nutanix and evangelize Nutanix within the partner.Own, develop and execute business plans covering relationship building, joint solution development, go-to-market, enablement, and more.Create the proper commercial constructs and own the business governance for your partners.Persuade Nutanix and partner teams to go to market using best practices jointly.Define and track business metrics and conduct regular business reviews and executive briefings with Nutanix and OEM partners.Achieve revenue goals and pipeline goals for future.Collaborate with various stakeholders within Nutanix and OEM organizations, to execute the business plan.Track/create pipeline, and close deals by partnering with the OEM partner field & Nutanix field.Enable partner stakeholders by educating on Nutanix value proposition, use cases.Facilitate the proper commercial constructs for partners.Relationship management and stakeholders’ management across the board.Focus on long-term strategy while handling tactical business activities.Build/Nurture trust and empathy between organizationsWork closely with Nutanix and OEM Partner teams (Sales, Practice, COE, Marketing…) to drive joint solutions, pipeline and marketing of the same & PR associated. What You Will Bring7+ years of specific experience demonstrating a strong level of expertise in building a business with and through partners.Preferred HPE experience but not required.Hands-on alliance leader guide with strong business acumenWell organized with a track record of developing and consistently executing on focused plans.Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Ability to communicate and build strong relationships with all levels of an organization.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and the ability to inspire others to act without using explicit authority.Knowledgeable about infrastructure and cloud solutions, IT services management, end-user computing, databases, and more.Strategic thinker and problem solver and the ability to plan and play out different scenarios to maximize growth.Hands-on and can-do “does what it takes” attitude to drive success.Highest level of personal and professional ethics and integrity Work ArrangementRemote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 300,000 and USD $ 450,000 per year.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
