Job Description
Netflix is seeking a dedicated and experienced External Support Engineer to join our dynamic support team. As a part of the External Support team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and superior support for our global customer base. This is a fully remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world.
Requirements
Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role
Strong knowledge of networking, internet protocols, and cloud-based technologies
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with troubleshooting software and hardware issues
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a plus
Responsibilities
Providing technical support to external customers via various communication channels
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Netflix streaming services
Collaborating with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems
Documenting and tracking customer issues using our support ticketing system
Contributing to the development of support documentation and knowledge base articles
Participating in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage
