OB Nurse Practitioner (CA Licensed) – Phone-Only Telehealth

Location:Remote (California Patients) Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time | 1099 Contract Specialty: OB/GYN-Experienced Nurse Practitioner Position Overview Alina Telehealth is hiring multiple OB-experienced Nurse Practitioners to support a high-volume prenatal telehealth program serving patients across California. This role is fully remote, phone-based, structured, and routine—ideal for NPs who are confident with OB follow-bolthires, interpreting physician summaries, and communicating results clearly to patients.All complex cases are escalated directly to the supervising OB physician. No video visits, no in-person care, no after-hours work. Key Responsibilities • Conduct routine prenatal follow-up calls for low-complexity adult patients • Review and communicate physician-provided updates such as: • Lab results • Prenatal genetic screening • Glucose monitoring results • Ultrasound findings • Basic OB/GYN bloodwork • Gender reveal results • Simple findings already reviewed by the physician • Relay physician-directed medication adjustments • Answer basic patient questions; escalate anything complex • Document all encounters same day in Practice Fusion • Maintain productivity of 25–30 completed calls per day Schedule • Monday–Friday • 8-hour shifts, consistent daily schedule • PST time zone • Phone-only telehealth • No nights or weekend requirements Requirements • Active, unrestricted California NP license • OB/GYN training or strong OB clinical experience • Excellent communication and results-review skills • Comfortable explaining routine prenatal findings • Must use HIPAA-compliant VOIP (Broadvoice, Doximity, or approved platform) • Familiarity with telehealth documentation workflows Clinical Scope • Setting: Outpatient Telehealth • Population: Prenatal adult patients • Productivity: 25–30 calls per day • EMR: Practice Fusion (training provided) • Collaboration: Direct communication with supervising physician • Escalation: Immediate handoff of complex or unclear casesWhy Join Alina Telehealth?• Fully remote, structured OB telehealth workflow • Supportive supervising OB physician • Consistent Monday–Friday schedule • Clear expectations and strong clinical guidance • EMR training and onboarding provided • Malpractice coverage included About Alina Telehealth At Alina Telehealth, we are committed to setting the standard for telemedicine and providing evidence-based healthcare services.
