Nutrition Coach/Health Coach
Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in the Pacific Time Zone) Job Summary: Do you have passion for health and fitness? As a nutrition coach at Effective Fitness you will be part of a team that helps others move better, feel stronger, and create happier, healthier lives. You will utilize your knowledge and experience to provide exceptional nutrition and health coaching, and support members as they work towards achieving their health and wellness goals. Responsibilities: • Conduct client intake assessments to understand their health goals, current eating habits, and any relevant medical conditions • Develop individualized nutrition plans based on client needs and preferences • Provide education and guidance on healthy eating principles, including macronutrient ratios, portion control, and food choices • Offer motivational support and accountability to help clients stay on track with their nutrition goals • Track client progress and make adjustments to nutrition plans as needed • Collaborate with other members of the team Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent verbal communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills • Friendly, outgoing attitude and positive demeanor • Ability to follow oral and written instructions • Ability to motivate and support clients in achieving their goals Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent • Nutrition certification or equivalent required (Precision Nutrition preferred) • Knowledge of various dietary approaches • Experience with online coaching platform This position description intends to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
