JOB DETAILS
Bridgefield Electric is actively recruiting for traveling and non-traveling APPRENTICE I and APPRENTICE II ELECTRICIANS who will perform the following job duties under the direct supervision a qualified electrician:
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance, of electrical systems
Able to learn and/or assist in identifying and diagnosing electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques
Able to learn and/or assist is bending and threading cable runs and basic installations compliant with NEC
Able to learn and/or assist in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics
Able to learn and/or test electrical systems to ensure proper and safe functioning
Supports in the maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and modifications of electrical equipment and systems
Ensure the work area and equipment is kept clean and safe
Must maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations
Additional duties may be assigned based upon job specific needs
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong aptitude and interest in electrical systems
Basic understanding of electrical concepts and tools
Possess above average problem solving skills
Willingness to learn and develop industry specific
High regard to performing work safely with respect to others including property and individual safety
Must be able to communicate and work effectively as a team
The Following Qualifications is Required:
1+ Years of Industrial Electrical Experience
Valid Texas Apprentice License
TWIC (for applicable sites)
ISTC Basic + (or similar Safety Council)
