Full Stack Engineer

Vantage is a FinOps platform that optimizes infrastructure costs for engineering teams. The Full Stack Engineer will work closely with founders and the product team, focusing on feature development, technical architecture, and customer impact.ResponsibilitiesWork directly with our founders and collaborate on feature discovery, ideation and deliveryWrite clean, testable, peer-reviewed codeDrive technical architecture decisions to set the groundwork as Vantage scales into the futureOwn end-to-end feature development - including measuring and reporting on customer impactJoin design and product on customer calls to understand user needsSkillsA product-oriented engineer with a passion for listening to and delighting customersHave a strong technical background, including 1-3+ years of experience working on full stack codebasesEnjoy being a generalist working on both the frontend and backendPrefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what will last and scaleSomeone who has led impactful engineering projects at non-trivial scaleExpertise in modern web language/frameworks; we use Ruby on RailsSoftware design experience with architectures that have scaled from the simple to the complexSomeone excited to make progress and hold a high degree of responsibilityMonitoring and observability expertiseExperience building and deploying to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)Relevant Data Visualization / financial product experienceExperience with Vue, Temporal, ClickHouse, CloudflareBenefitsEquity401(k) planMedical, dental, and vision benefitsEducation stipendsCompany OverviewVantage is a cloud cost management and optimization platform that allows developers to analyze, report on, and reduce cloud costs.
