No Fault Claims Adjuster
We are seeking an Auto Claims Examiner to join our growing team.
This position will be responsible primarily for the adjustment of first- and third-party auto property damage claims arising from general liability and auto liability coverages. The position also involves NY No-Fault (PIP) claims handling.
How You Will Contribute
Coverage assessment and verification
Investigate, evaluate, and bring to a disposition all non-litigated claims
Assure the proper reserving of all losses
Assign and manage the activities of independent adjusters and other vendors
Work effectively with clients, brokers, attorneys and other departments
Identify subrogation potential
Manage the subrogation process
Participate in mediation and arbitration
Preparing comprehensive claim correspondence
Attend training classes and/or secure professional designations
Handle NY PIP and Medical payments claims
Make recommendations as to reserves and disposition of claims
Licenses and Certifications:
Active New York State General Adjusters license (Series 17-70)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
Bachelors degree or life experience
Experience in handling commercial automobile claims
Professional telephone demeanor
Proficient use of a PC
3 to 5 years of experience
Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $85,000, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring equitable compensation for all team members.
