Marketing Technology (MarTech) Engineer (Contract)
Carex is partnering with a financial services industry partner to find a contract Marketing Technology (MarTech) Engineer to support, clean up, and optimize a complex lead routing platform and surrounding systems. This highly collaborative, hands-on role sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and infrastructure, with a focus on the Marketing Lead Routing platform and related integrations. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, embraces ambiguity, and brings a "figure-it-out" mindset to solving technical and process challenges. This is a 6-month contract position.
What You’ll Do
• Support and administer the lead routing platform, including tracking, reporting, and system cleanup
• Evaluate and improve existing lead routing infrastructure for accuracy and scalability
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in lead-to-loan metrics, reporting, and data matching between the routing platform and internal systems
• Collaborate closely with the web, marketing, and data teams to uncover root causes of data and tracking issues
• Develop or support integrations across CRM systems, lead platforms, and internal tools using APIs, webhooks, or low-code solutions
• Participate in daily huddles and backlog grooming with a small, agile web team
• Provide adaptable technical support across a range of evolving MarTech challenges
What You’ll Bring
• Experience with lead routing platforms
• Comfort working in unstructured, fast-changing environments with limited documentation
• Ability to self-direct, troubleshoot, and navigate complexity with minimal guidance
• Familiarity with API integrations, data pipelines, CRMs, and marketing-to-sales lead flows
• An easygoing, collaborative mindset with strong communication and cross-functional alignment skills
• Willingness to learn quickly and contribute broadly across systems and technical needs
