Night Watchman
Job Summary
The Night Watchman is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, staff, and the physical facility. Please note before applying: This position is working overnight, can be up to 6 to 10 hours shifts and will be required to work any day of the week as assigned.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Maintains a log of all pertinent information and happenings on shift, by keeping accurate records and report any unsafe conditions while patrolling hotel property.
ā¢ Monitors entry into building complex through ground patrol and use of surveillance cameras.
ā¢ Aids in resolving emergency situations.
ā¢ Performs other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
ā¢ Performs rounds of the hotel, to include: parking areas, and public areas of the hotel.
ā¢ Responds immediately to emergency incidents and Security requests to which he or she is assigned.
ā¢ Is courteous, tactful, and helpful, but firm in enforcing hotel policies and procedures.
ā¢ Maintain professional attitude and appearance.
ā¢ Assist with Front Office duties.
ā¢ Follows proper audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense transactions.
ā¢ Performs all Front desk duties including check-in, check-out and cashier procedures in a proper and efficient manner.
Qualifications
ā¢ Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention is preferred.
ā¢ Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
ā¢ Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
ā¢ Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
ā¢ Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
ā¢ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
ā¢ Must possess a valid security certificate or license as required by local regulations.
ā¢ Hotel Experience.
