We're hiring a Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large-scale infrastructure initiative for a leading public sector client. This is a fully remote opportunity (Northeast U.S. preferred) requiring deep hands-on experience in routing/switching, Cisco ACI SDN, and enterprise network security.

responsibilities:
ā¢ Support and optimize large-scale LAN, WAN, and VPN environments
ā¢ Troubleshoot critical network issues across Cisco Nexus, F5, firewalls, and Azure environments
ā¢ Manage network security, Wi-Fi infrastructure, cabling, DNS/DHCP/IP (Infoblox), and encryptors
ā¢ Integrate monitoring tools like SolarWinds with EventOps for streamlined observability
qualifications:
ā¢ 8+ years in network infrastructure roles
ā¢ Expertise with Routing & Switching, Cisco ACI (SDN), VPN, and Infoblox
ā¢ Experience with Azure networking, F5 load balancing, and network encryption
ā¢ Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or Azure preferred
skills:
ā¢ Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN/VPN infrastructure
ā¢ Troubleshoot complex network issues
ā¢ Optimize delivery, broker, and security services
ā¢ Integrate monitoring tools (SolarWinds ā EventOps)
ā¢ Support ACI, firewalls, Azure networks, load balancers
ā¢ Document topology, incidents, and configurations
ā¢ Participate in on-call and incident rotations
