Network Engineer – Security Integration
Job Details:Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Network Engineer to support and grow our security integration solutions. This role involves configuring VLANs and firewalls, troubleshooting network issues for internal and customer systems, and providing advanced network services such as penetration testing and managed IT support.Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and manage VLANs on various network switches (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Netgear, etc.)
Configure and secure firewalls (e.g., SonicWall, Fortinet)
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in collaboration with field technicians
Perform diagnostics: packet tracing, IP conflicts, bandwidth analysis
Configure secure remote access, NATs, and port forwarding for security systems
Conduct and support sales of IT services, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Maintain clear documentation of network topologies, configurations, and policies
Advise internal teams on networking standards, cybersecurity, and best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering (ideally in a security integration or MSP environment)
Proficiency in VLANs, routing protocols, NAT, DHCP, DNS
Experience with firewall configuration and troubleshooting (SonicWall, Fortinet, etc.)
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, or SonicWall CSSA preferred
Key Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Sales support capabilities and customer-facing confidence
Self-motivated and proactive mindset
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM- 5:30 PMSalary: $80,000-$90,000
