The analyst will serve the United States Congress by providing in-depth research and analysis on policy issues pertinent to U.S. securities and derivatives markets, regulation, and federal regulatory agencies, and may support research analyses undertaken throughout CRS. The ideal candidate will have knowledge about economic principles and U.S. financial markets, experience analyzing public policy, and an intellectual curiosity about securities and derivatives markets and regulation. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to apply their knowledge of economics and finance to current federal policy debates. Strong writing, research, and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to work on a collaborative team.
