Network Engineer II - Hybrid/Remote within MCHS locations
About the position The Network Engineer II is responsible for meeting project goals as well as maintaining the day-to-day operation of computer networks for Marshfield Clinic Health System. This individual's primary duties include project installations, maintenance and administration of network hardware, software and other related components. Responsibilities • Meet project goals related to network engineering. • Maintain the day-to-day operation of computer networks. • Install network hardware and software. • Administer network components. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field and two years of relevant work experience, or • Associate Degree in an Information Technology field and four years of relevant work experience, or • Six years of relevant work experience. • Experience in networking in an enterprise environment, specifically with Cisco Network Routing and Switching, Network Monitoring and troubleshooting tools, and Cisco Wireless LAN controllers. • State of Wisconsin valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Nice-to-haves • Experience with Palo Alto or Cisco Firewalls. • Experience with Network Load Balancers. • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification. Apply tot his job
