NetSuite Admin/EDI Specialist

A client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a NetSuite Administrator & EDI Specialist to manage their NetSuite ERP system and oversee Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with key vendors.
This is a remote position with occasional on-site visits required in North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
NetSuite Administration:
ā¢ Manage core NetSuite modules such as Inventory Management, Procurement, Order Management, and Supply Chain to support day-to-day operations
ā¢ Customize workflows and automate processes using SuiteScript and SuiteFlow
ā¢ Handle financial modules like Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger to align with company financial operations
ā¢ Manage user roles, permissions, and ensure data security and compliance with federal regulations
ā¢ Coordinate system updates, enhancements, and integrations with other platforms
EDI Management:
ā¢ Implement and maintain vendor EDI connections, ensuring accurate and timely data exchange for purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notifications
ā¢ Monitor EDI transactions, troubleshoot errors, and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues
Ensure adherence to industry-standard EDI protocols and best practices
Process Optimization:
ā¢ Analyze and improve business processes within NetSuite, enhancing efficiency across departments like procurement, inventory, and sales
ā¢ Work with internal teams to optimize reporting, forecasting, and supply chain visibility
Support & Training:
ā¢ Provide training to team members on NetSuite functionalities and EDI processes
ā¢ Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and workflows
Qualifications:
ā¢ 3+ years experience in NetSuite administration, including hands-on experience with modules such as Inventory Management, Procurement, and Financial Management
ā¢ Expertise in EDI integration and vendor management
ā¢ Technical knowledge of SuiteScript and SuiteFlow is preferred but not essential
ā¢ Strong analytical skills with experience in troubleshooting and system optimization
