General Summary

As a Marketing Specialist, Social Media, you will be responsible for implementing and driving our social media and advocacy strategies. You will be equal parts storyteller, copywriter, and producer. Your mission is to grow our reach, engage our audience, and spread our message leveraging all social media platforms.

You will sit directly with the Acquisition Marketing team, work in close collaboration with the Customer Service and Creative teams, and report to the Manager, Content.

Core Functions

Work closely with the Manager of Content, Social Media Manager, Content Strategists, and marketing team leads to implement our social media and advocacy strategies.
Coordinate and share blog articles, training resources, specific campaign content, and partner content across all of our social media channels.
Collaborate with the Creative team to create compelling visuals, audio, etc. for all posts.
Track and analyze social media and advocacy analytics and utilize the data to gain insights and positively affect future outcomes.
Monitor all social channels and groups and respond appropriately to customer feedback.
Identify opportunities to engage with potential customers around training and racing.
Engage with influencers and partners to help grow and maintain relationships.
Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices.
Actively seek out opportunities to create (video) content with existing customers and influencers. Work closely with other members of the marketing team to bring these to life.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of social media marketing experience.
Experience using major social media platforms in a business setting.
Experience with brand advocacy programs.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Positive attitude and customer oriented.
Passion for endurance sports.
Degrees are not required and we value all forms of continued education including traditional four-year degrees, post-graduate degrees, associates degrees, bootcamps, online training, professional certifications, self-teaching and more.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with social media management tools (Later, etc.)
Customer service experience.
Experience using Google Analytics and other social media analysis tools.
Experience using TrainingPeaks? products and services.

Compensation

Peaksware/TrainingPeaks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $48,548 - $80,914. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment
