Title: API/Integration Architect
Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite/ Hybrid)

Responsibilities


Lead the enterprise application integration EAI strategy and platform SOA EDI ETL Data Virtualization architecture
Collaborate with other engineers and architects within online and other parts of EA to drive guidelines and documentation
Provides advanced technical expertise oversight and accountability for resolution of outages service level issues and other events in partnership with support teams
Define proactive activities and tasks required for optimization of stability performance and architecture
Closely partner with information security in insuring all applicable security and compliance standards and requirements are incorporated into service design
Create, designs and oversee implementation of enterprise integration capabilities between various heterogeneous systems within HIG GB eco system
Required Skills


Understanding of the concepts of SOAP and REST services both XML and JSON message formats
Exposure to SOA governance tools such as SoftwareAG Centrasite
5-7 years of overall programming on Java JEE related technologies
2-3 years of Experience in API development
Solid experience in designing Channel Process and System APIs, also in REST and SWAGGER, and in API Implementation Patterns, API taxonomy, and API LifeCycle
