Music Release & Rights Infrastructure Consultant (Pre-Release Planning)

I am an independent artist currently finishing mixing and mastering of an upcoming album. Before release, I want to ensure that the distribution, publishing, metadata, and royalty infrastructure are correctly designed and structured.
This is not a playlist promotion or marketing role. I am looking for a consultant with strong knowledge of digital music distribution and rights administration.
The goal is to build a clean release pipeline before publication.
Scope of work:
ā Advise on appropriate distributor selection
ā ISRC and UPC strategy
ā Metadata structure and best practices
ā Publishing registration strategy (PRO setup and works registration)
ā Neighboring rights registration (e.g., GVL, SoundExchange, PPL)
ā Mechanical royalty considerations
ā YouTube Content ID setup
ā International royalty collection structure
ā Review of ownership and split documentation
ā Identification of potential rights or revenue risks
Requirements:
ā Demonstrable experience in music publishing and digital distribution
ā Clear understanding of master vs publishing royalties
ā Experience working with PROs and neighboring rights organizations
ā Ability to explain the process clearly and systematically
Initial engagement will be a paid consultation (1ā3 hours) to map the release architecture. Ongoing support may follow depending on fit.
Ownership of masters and publishing will remain with me.
