Key Responsibilities:
Teach music understanding, appreciation, harmony, and choral music to elementary pupils, adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of each student
Plan and execute a balanced music program, utilizing a repertoire of traditional and contemporary music literature
Provide individual and small group instruction to develop students' musical skills and encourage participation in musical performances
Evaluate student progress, assess musical growth, and communicate with parents on pupil development
Maintain school-owned music equipment and instruments, and cooperate with school staff to provide musical programs for school events
Requirements:
Meet certification requirements of the State of Delaware for Teacher of Music K-12
