Responsible for assigning sales objectives for the mortgage loan products, suggesting sales production goals, and accomplishing those on an annual basis. Responsible for assigning sales objectives for the mortgage loan products, suggesting sales production goals, and accomplishing those on an annual basis. Essential Functions Recruit, grow and train inside sales team. Recommends departmental and individual production goals, personnel performance expectations, and appropriate staffing levels. Creates a culture of success within the department. Set and create goals for monthly call queue performance standards. Monitor agent originations, fundings, and loan conversion percentages. Responsible for continuous improvement of inside sales metrics and processes. Responsible for hiring, training and developing high performance sales team members, employee development, performance evaluation, resolution of employee issues and all manager-related administrative functions. Identifies opportunities to improve products, processes, and service to achieve short-term and long-term strategic and tactical goals. Cultivates branch awareness of mortgage products and services through frequent interaction with staff. Develops and implements strategies and tactics to attain mortgage loan growth and profitability goals that will enhance and complement the goals and objectives of the Strategic Plan. Develop marketing strategies and campaigns for the various mortgage loan products and services. Maintains active monitoring of monthly pipeline production and sales activity to allow reliable reporting to the executive team on an ongoing basis. Supports and advises management of internal and external products and regulations, as well as, stays abreast of industry trends, best practices and competitive information. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Education/Certification: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours. Required Knowledge This position requires knowledge of Conventional, FHA and VA loan documents. Fannie Mae servicing guidelines and applicable lending laws and regulations. Thorough knowledge of loan products, policies and procedures. Knowledge of lending concepts and principles is required. Industry related software include Symitar, FICS, Simplifile, and Investor applications. Experience Required This position requires a minimum of 5-8 years of mortgage loan servicing functions experience. 1-2 years of experience leading/supervising a loan servicing team. Hard/Technical Skills/Abilities Exceptional organizational skills. Excellent verbal, written and communication skills. Computer skills to operate various software programs, including exceptional accuracy and completeness in data entry. Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and attention to detail is critical. Ability to accurately analyze financial data and interpret various investor and agency requirements and relate them to the appropriate tasks. Proven ability to manage people and resources in a rapidly changing and evolving industry. Working Conditions Standard office conditions Low to moderate noise Limited lifting up to 20 lbs.
