Morongo Valley | Part-Time After School Yoga Instructor
Do you want to inspire our future generation? Join our team! At Rising Stars we are Hiring Instructors and Coaches to teach ongoing after school classes at local elementary schools in the area.
Perfect for students, aspiring teachers, retirees and those in search of a flexible schedule working a couple of hours per day with elementary-aged children. Shifts are 1.25 hours and meet once per week after school dismissal in the afternoons. A shift includes set-up and teaching the class.
The most important part of our job is having FUN, while making a tremendous impact on kids.

Requirements to Coach:
• 18 years of age and up
• Have your own transportation
• Positive, Patient, enthusiastic demeanor
• Punctual and able to commit to 8 - 15 week sessions.
• Enjoys being around kids and is confident in managing a group of 8-16 kids
• No coaching experience required; if you are 20 years of age or older.
• (if you are 18-19 you must have some experience working with youth)
• Availability weekday afternoons for one to two 1.25 hour shifts between times of 12:30pm-5:00pm. Times vary per school, and day.
• Clear DOJ fingerprinting
We Provide:
• Training on how to run after school classes and lesson plans
• Equipment
• All admin
• Rosters
• Schedules based around your availability
Pay:
• $28-$32 per hour + we cover 15-min setup before the class
• You can teach 1-2 classes per afternoon; 1- 8 total classes per week. (on some days coaches can teach at 2 schools)
• Coaches are hired as part time employees Coaches earn 1 hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours working
• Coaches are paid by direct deposit every 2 weeks
• Reimbursement for Live Scan fingerprinting, which is required prior to starting
This is a great job for someone looking for part time hours in the afternoon such as a college student or a full time coach, or a trainer, or anyone with early afternoon availability.
You will need to include 2 professional references.
