MongoDB Engineer
We’re seeking a MongoDB Atlas / NoSQL Data Engineer with deep expertise in MongoDB Atlas and NoSQL data storage to support a major digital transformation initiative. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex data environments, understands how to optimize large‑scale NoSQL systems, and can operate confidently across cloud, ETL, and CI/CD workflows.
What You’ll Do
• Design, implement, and optimize MongoDB Atlas data storage solutions, including indexing, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Support the migration of legacy systems to Oracle Exadata, including stored procedures and relational database design.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines, ensuring strong data governance, access controls, and compliance.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
• Collaborate on infrastructure automation (Terraform experience is a plus).
• Work with big data technologies and integrate solutions across multiple platforms.
• Leverage Azure (or other cloud technologies) to build scalable, secure data solutions.
• Ensure compliance with government requirements, including U.S.‑only residency.
What You Bring
• Strong expertise in MongoDB / MongoDB Atlas, including storage optimization, indexing strategies, and NoSQL best practices.
• Experience supporting government clients and understanding compliance requirements.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, relational database concepts, and stored procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL, data governance, and access control frameworks.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development; Terraform is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑team environment supporting high‑visibility programs.
