Mobile Veterinarian In-Home Pet Euthanasia

Remote Full-time
About the Practice

We are a small veterinary-led practice dedicated exclusively to providing peaceful, in-home euthanasia for pets throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Our work centers on one simple belief: pets deserve a calm, dignified passing surrounded by the people and places they love most.

Providing this care in the home allows families to say goodbye in a familiar environment where their pet feels safe and comfortable.

Unlike larger services that rely on call centers or answering services, our veterinarians work directly with people who understand the veterinary field and the families we serve. Our team manages scheduling and client communication so our doctors can focus entirely on providing compassionate care.

Many veterinarians who join us are looking for a more sustainable and meaningful way to practice veterinary medicine. Because we are a small practice, our veterinarians have a direct voice in how we grow and improve our services. We value feedback from the people doing the work and believe the best ideas often come from the field.

The Role

This position focuses exclusively on in-home euthanasia services.

Veterinarians travel to clients’ homes throughout the Las Vegas Valley to help families say goodbye to their pets in a peaceful and familiar environment.

Appointments are intentionally limited so that families have the time and space they need during this difficult moment.

Typical Caseload

Veterinarians typically see no more than five appointments per day.

Appointments are generally scheduled for up to one hour, allowing time for families to say goodbye without feeling rushed.

Whenever possible, appointments are scheduled geographically to help minimize unnecessary travel throughout the valley.

Our goal is to maintain a sustainable pace so veterinarians have the time and emotional space needed to support families without feeling rushed.

Schedule
• 4 days per week
• Flexible scheduling within those days
• No clinic shifts or hospital work

Responsibilities
• Provide compassionate in-home euthanasia services
• Guide families through the euthanasia process with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain appropriate medical documentation
• Travel throughout the Las Vegas Valley for appointments

Qualifications
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD)
• Nevada veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable SUV or similar vehicle suitable for transporting equipment and supplies
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted, 50 lbs with assistance

Supplies & Equipment

We provide the supplies and equipment needed for appointments.

Due to licensing regulations, veterinarians are responsible for maintaining their own controlled medications.

Training & Collaboration

We provide training on how we conduct in-home appointments and are open to feedback and ideas from our veterinarians as we continue improving how we serve families.

Compensation

$90,000 – $110,000+ annually depending on experience
W-2 employment

As a small practice, we may not offer the extensive corporate benefits packages found in larger organizations. What we do offer is a supportive environment, manageable caseload, and the opportunity to provide meaningful veterinary care in a calm and respectful setting.

Who Thrives in This Role

Veterinarians who enjoy this work often appreciate a slower pace than traditional clinic medicine and value the opportunity to provide compassionate care during an important moment for families.

This role may be a good fit for veterinarians who:
• Want a more sustainable pace than a traditional clinic environment
• Value meaningful interactions with clients
• Are comfortable working independently in the field
• Appreciate helping pets pass peacefully at home
