Mobile Mechanic – Fleet Specialist (Gas & Tesla/EV)

We are looking for a dedicated Mobile Mechanic who takes pride in their craft and wants to transition into the future of automotive tech. We value reliability, clear communication, and a "solutions-oriented" mindset. Compensation & Incentives • Diagnostic Rate: $30.00/hr for inspections and administrative assessments. • Service Rate: $35.00/hr for active mechanical and cosmetic repairs. • Daily Payouts: Compensation is processed daily upon completion of tasks. • Retention Bonus: $1,000 after 6 months of consistent service. • Towing Incentive: $2,000 total bonus (after 3 months) for technicians with a personal pickup truck capable of vehicle transport. _ Core Responsibilities_ Gas Vehicle Operations (Flipping): • Diagnostic Accuracy: Identify engine health, transmission issues, and fluid leaks (oil, coolant, etc.) to determine repair viability. • General Maintenance: Perform high-quality oil changes, brake services, and minor mechanical repairs to ensure vehicles are "Sale Ready." Tesla & EV Operations (Rentals): • EV Troubleshooting: Use basic diagnostic tools and Tesla’s "Service Mode" to identify vehicle alerts. • Cosmetic & Tech Integration: Handle repairs involving body panels and trim while being mindful of integrated cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and wiring. * Quality Assurance: Ensure all safety tech (sensors/cameras) is clean and functional after any repair work. Requirements • Mechanical Foundation: Strong experience in diagnosing and repairing internal combustion engines. • EV Aptitude: You don't need to be a Tesla expert, but you must be tech-savvy and willing to learn EV-specific repair protocols. • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow wiring diagrams and handle delicate electronic components without damage. • Reliability: You must own your basic tools (including a floor jack and OBD scanner) and have reliable transportation.
