Mobile Electronics Technician
DATTCO, INC is a third-generation, family-owned transportation company and the largest private passenger transportation company in New England. They are seeking a Mobile Electronics Technician who will travel to various locations to install and troubleshoot electronic systems on vehicles. Responsibilities Travel to DATTCO locations to install/troubleshoot 12 volt and 24-volt electronics (cameras, GPS tracking, telematics, 2-way radios) on DATTCO and/or customer vehicles Accurately record and report information regarding installs/repairs Responsible for ordering and controlling inventory levels Skills High School Diploma or equivalent Drivers license Previous 12v/24v installation and service experience Moderate to advanced knowledge of vehicle electronics concepts such as GPS, relays and video systems Availability to work weekends/overnights/overtime as required Technician will be required to supply their own tools for this position Must possess the physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasks Must possess excellent computer skills Must be able to work in a team environment Must be a self-starter English communication skills School bus/coach bus experience preferred Benefits Medical and dental insurance Life insurance 401k plan with company match Paid holidays Paid time off Employee referral bonuses Company Overview DATTCO is a transportation company that offers new buses, old buses, and repair services.
