Job Title: Business Central Administrator (On-Prem)Location: 100% Remote (Anywhere in USA)We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Administrator who has in-depth expertise with the on-premise version of Business Central (or NAV). This role is critical for managing, maintaining, customizing, and migrating our Business Central environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of Business Central, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.If you know Business Central inside and out and have experience with migrations, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing system maintenance, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:✅ System Administration & MaintenanceOversee, manage, and maintain the on-premise Business Central (or NAV) environment.Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure stability and security.Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.Implement system changes, configurations, and customizations to support business needs.✅ Upgrades, Migrations & IntegrationsLead migrations and upgrades from legacy versions (NAV) to Business Central.Plan and execute system upgrades while minimizing downtime and disruption.Work on API integrations with third-party applications (CRM, e-commerce, warehouse management, etc.).Develop and implement best practices for Business Central data migration.✅ Customization & Process ImprovementConfigure Business Central to meet operational needs, including workflows, automation, and reporting.Support development and customization efforts using AL language, Power Automate, or extensions.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize business processes and ERP functionality.✅ User Support & TrainingProvide expert-level support for end-users, troubleshooting system issues.Train users on Business Central features, updates, and best practices.Maintain security roles and permissions to ensure proper access controls.✅ Data Management & ReportingEnsure data integrity and optimize database performance.Develop and modify reports using Jet Reports, Power BI, SQL, or Excel.Support finance, operations, and supply chain teams with ERP-driven insights.Requirements:Experience:8+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (On-Premise) or NAV.Deep understanding of Business Central architecture, functionality, and best practices.Proven experience managing, maintaining, and optimizing an on-prem Business Central environment.Strong knowledge of migrations, upgrades, and integrations with other business applications.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Business Central configuration, setup, and customization.Experience with SQL Server, Power BI, Jet Reports, or AL programming.Understanding of API integrations and extension development.Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and improve system performance.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and training abilities.Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Business Central migrations from NAV.Hands-on experience with Azure-hosted Business Central environments.Knowledge of finance, inventory, and supply chain modules in Business Central.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: Remote
