Job Title: Microsoft Cloud Security & Endpoint Solutions Consultant (Remote, Contract-to-Hire) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract-to-Hire About the Role: We are seeking a Microsoft Cloud Security & Endpoint Solutions Consultant who thrives at the intersection of cloud architecture, endpoint management, and cybersecurity. This role is ideal for a disciplined, methodical professional who excels in execution, clear communication, and building repeatable processes. You will work across multiple client environments, maintaining predictable routines while delivering high-quality technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Outlook, retention policies, and Conditional Access. • Oversee identity, access, endpoint management, and implement Zero Trust/security governance frameworks. • Manage SOC and EDR/RMM platforms (e.g., Arctic Wolf, SentinelOne, NinjaOne) for monitoring, threat detection, and incident response, ensuring strong hygiene and configuration standards. • Execute regular patching cadence across multiple client environments. • Identify, prioritize, and remediate security findings using standard processes and evidence-based documentation. • Troubleshoot and validate core DNS and mail authentication components, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and TXT records. • Provide general networking, firewall, and Mimecast support. • Lead resolution of Tier 2–3 technical escalations. • Build and maintain repeatable runbooks for recurring tasks and incident response scenarios. • Use PowerShell to automate routine tasks, generate reports, and improve consistency. • Deliver calm, professional communication to clients and internal teams. • Participate in off-hours maintenance windows as needed. Qualifications: • 5–8+ years of experience managing Microsoft Cloud and endpoint management environments. • Strong experience with Intune/Autopilot, Group Policy, application packaging, and patching tools. • Effective use of PowerShell for automation and repeatable fixes. • Hands-on experience with Arctic Wolf, SentinelOne, NinjaOne, or similar EDR/RMM platforms. • Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and Zero Trust principles. • Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity, mail flow, and authentication issues. • Comfortable working within a checklist-driven, evidence-first culture. • Experience supporting law firms or professional services organizations is a plus. • Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and teams.
