Ā Document Handling: Review and interpret source documents, such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and input the necessary information into designated data fields.
Ā Data Verification: Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of demographic, financial, and customer data before entry. Identify discrepancies and correct data entry errors by cross-referencing source documents.
Ā Error Reporting: Detect and report any data discrepancies to supervisors and suggest corrective measures as needed.
Ā Record Keeping: Maintain accurate operational records, logs of activities, and completed work.
Ā Confidentiality: Uphold data integrity and confidentiality by adhering to organizational procedures and standards.
Ā Prioritization: Establish data entry priorities by following organizational guidelines or collaborating with team leadership.
Ā Data Validation: Verify and update customer and account information by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data. Purge files to eliminate duplicate entries.
Ā Data Security: Secure data by performing regular database backups and following data protection protocols.
Ā Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes, including designing new forms or templates for more efficient data entry.
Ā Team Collaboration: Operate office equipment as needed and support the team by contributing to various tasks related to data management.
Qualifications
Ā Prior experience in data entry, clerical work, or an office setting is required.
